Listeners have spoken in the 19th Annual Dori Awards. The winners of this year’s Dori award honors for most annoying people of the year are:
National winners – Pop star Miley Cyrus
Runner-ups: Obamacare and Senator Harry Reid
Local winner – The Boeing Machinists
Runner-ups: 49er fans Rich and Judy and $15 an hour fast food workers
Some of the other popular nominees included Seattle’s first Socialist City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, Seattle cyclists, and some exes.
The Dori Awards are named for the first recipient of this award, Dori Monson, who was named by listeners as the most annoying person around the first year he hosted his show.
