Obamacare is proving to be just a complete disaster, killing jobs, raising health care costs.
Particularly problematic is the fact that young people are not signing up because they understand that they're going to have to subsidize all of the older, sicklier people.
Obamacare makes sense if you are older and or sickly. If you are 28 years old and healthy, do you really want to pay enormous health care fees so you can subsidize all the people that are getting free health care now by this system?
This is becoming a problem, even at the state level in Washington. But the state of Washington being the marketing geniuses that they are, they have come up with a campaign that's really going to energize young people.
Here's how the state of Washington is going to get all the young people in the state of Washington to sign up for health care:
Their new ad videos feature a big, heavy black guy and a tiny, little white guy. They both have the gold chains, almost like Ali G.
This is like a middle-aged person's version of what is funny. I'm serious. Who is going to find that funny? It's just painful. There's no age that this could possibly be well targeted at.
They all think they're so hip, they're so cutting edge with this humor they've unveiled, and they think people are actually going to start enrolling because of this.
