Washington State Patrol Chief John Batiste and Assistant Chief Ron Rupke surprised Dori Monson in the studio on Tuesday.
Monson says this visit was a lot different than his last visit with the state patrol where he got tased (he volunteered to be tased on air).
This time, Monson was honored by Chief Batiste who awarded him with a chief’s coin for his 911 call that led to a DUI arrest last month.
