I will always have a soft spot for the Boys & Girls Club. That's where my passion for coaching began and I've seen the great work they do in the lives of so many kids.

My friend Curt Marsh - the great former Husky and Oakland Raider - came on the show to tell us about an event coming up May 30th at the Everett B&G Club. Husky basketball coach Lorenzo Romar will be the keynote speaker.

The events includes dinner from Outback Steakhouse and a silent auction. Some of the items include tickets to a Storm game, signed ball from Edgar Martinez, and stuff from Coach Sarkisian.

Tickets are $500 for a table, or $50 for a seat. Marsh says $500 will buy food for the kids for an entire week.
