Do you need religion in order to follow God?August 3, 2012 @ 10:10 am
A Gallup poll shows Americans still have faith in God, but not in religious institutions.
So I wanted to know: Can I figure out God's will on my own? Just by reading the Word? Reflecting? And going with my conscience?
So, a Mormon and a rabbi walk into a studio. Rabbi Yohanna Kinberg of Temple B'Nai Torah in Bellevue and LDS Church Stake President Gordon Tanner of Redmond are my guests. I'll ask: Why do I need them -- why didn't God just tell me what to do? Do they regret anything their faiths have done? If so, why should we listen to tradition?
Are you "spritual" but not religious? Is that an easy way out? Join me for the Bill Radke Treatment this weekend -- Saturday at noon.
