Fun Frog Fact Day

Sometimes at lunch I goof around on Google news to see if anyone else I went to high school with stabbed someone to death with a screwdriver. My favorite section is the science section, because there’s always some weird animal junk going on in the world. Today I learned from a story in an Australian newspaper that “Frog’s mating call also attracts predators.” Researchers from four universities in three countries worked together to figure that out.

So, I’m pretty sure a bunch of undergrad science buds duped some universities into giving them a bunch of cash to hang out together and party in South America. Then at the end, somebody asked what their findings were, and they said, “You know that loud noise frogs are always making? Turns out bears hear it feed too.”

Being a scientist sounds cool.
