Last Laugh

Today is my last official day as your Former TBTL Blogger. I will soon become the former Former TBTL Blogger and someone else will take on that role. So enjoy this last blog in the spirit is intended, pure joy that I don’t have to do it anymore. Unless Luke decides he needs me to do it for another week.

pi

On this episode of “Luke Hates Something” the popular film Life of Pi is discussed. Luke is angry at the quick and happy wrap-up at the end. I didn’t really feel like it was that happy, but it was a bit quick. Luke also apologizes for what he discussed on yesterday’s episode of “Luke Hates Something,” whiney Facebook posts. Also on the subject of the Wendy’s commercials, I have commented previously on how awful it would be to work with that woman. You don’t just talk crap about other people’s lunches!

On a more serious note, I truly thank Luke for the opportunity to write for this blog. I’m a big fan of the show and I apologize for everything I’ve ever said. I’m a horrible person.

New York Times columnist David Carr died on Thursday night. The guys did a great job eulogizing him and there's little praise I could add.

Harper “Buddy” Lee: You Can’t Bust Her!

I spent a blog "week off" mourning the Sea-Yuks loss but I was still listening to the show. There are so many issues it feels like time for my first USA Today/Larry King style post.

Touched “a” Verve… or “The” Verve?

On the morning of January 23rd, 2006 my phone rang while I was eating breakfast. I had a sore throat so my "hello" was weak and hoarse.
