Nanjiani Carousel 03

Luke is joined by comedian and actor Kumail Nanjiani on today’s episode, as they discover the horrifying process of aging with the help of Nicole Eggert and Flock of Seagulls. Previously thinking of time as a purely abstract concept, they learn that human beings are ravaged by it’s hands. It’s a great and very candid conversation where they also discuss Kumail’s upbringing, his love of video games and his parents not knowing how to be proud of him (“I saw your program.”) You can watch his Comedy Central special “Beta Male” here.

New York Times columnist David Carr died on Thursday night. The guys did a great job eulogizing him and there's little praise I could add.

On the morning of January 23rd, 2006 my phone rang while I was eating breakfast. I had a sore throat so my "hello" was weak and hoarse.
