TBTL WITH LUKE BURBANK

Okay, Sir

Andrew overcame his fears to moderate a debate in Burien and feels the opposite of shame, or at least less of it than he was expecting to. Luke, high off his recent softball win, has taken a controversial stance on what age a mother should stop breastfeeding their child underneath a car. I say you can’t really make that decision without knowing the make and model.

As Luke “We Are The Champions” Burbank mentioned briefly, Sacha Baron Cohen has dropped out of the Freddy Mercury biopic. He did not mention that the reason he’s dropping out is because the remaining members of Queen wanted to make the film PG family-fare. If I may employ humor for a moment…what child in the year 2013 doesn’t want to see a film about an 80s rock singer who died from AIDS? I can’t think of a one. And let’s just say I don’t appreciate that clip Luke played of my little ‘episode’ at my local Los Angeles Apple Store, and I don’t appreciate him calling me a woman.

New York Times columnist David Carr died on Thursday night. The guys did a great job eulogizing him and there's little praise I could add.

Harper “Buddy” Lee: You Can’t Bust Her!

I spent a blog "week off" mourning the Sea-Yuks loss but I was still listening to the show. There are so many issues it feels like time for my first USA Today/Larry King style post.

Touched “a” Verve… or “The” Verve?

On the morning of January 23rd, 2006 my phone rang while I was eating breakfast. I had a sore throat so my "hello" was weak and hoarse.
