TBTL WITH LUKE BURBANK

Don’t Cross the Crossing Guard

Luke and Andrew today discuss the power of Kickstarter and whether or not the people who picked on them ever got their due. My childhood was a bit of a Room of Tears as well and I turned out to be a perfectly well adjusted, devastatingly handsome human being who just also happens to use alcohol to quell his constant feelings of anxiety.

I remember when I saw a football player who teased me back in high school and he had gained a lot of weight. There is no sweeter revenge. Is it possible to make a Kickstarter so that Andrew’s bully gains 500 pounds? Honestly though, I think the real comeuppance for bullies is they have to spend the rest of their lives with themselves, while the people who are bullied mostly just become comedians.

New York Times columnist David Carr died on Thursday night. The guys did a great job eulogizing him and there's little praise I could add.

I spent a blog "week off" mourning the Sea-Yuks loss but I was still listening to the show. There are so many issues it feels like time for my first USA Today/Larry King style post.

Touched “a” Verve… or “The” Verve?

On the morning of January 23rd, 2006 my phone rang while I was eating breakfast. I had a sore throat so my "hello" was weak and hoarse.
