Girls Gone Bankrupt

Both Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis and Pope Benedict XVI are out of a job now. The former is filing for bankruptcy and the latter is retiring. Elections for the new pope will begin soon and personally my money's on Ricky the Cool Cardinal.

But before explaining Girls Gone Wild to younger listeners and attacking the Catholic Church on Thursday's show, Luke and Andrew take some time to reminisce about Mr. Rogers. To me that just means an excuse to post this lovely video of Mr. Rogers testifying to congress on why they should fund PBS. If it doesn't melt your heart I don't know what will. Maybe those body scanners at the airport?

Mr. Rogers' 1997 Emmy Acceptance Speech
This never fails to blow my mind when he asks for gets the broadcast to go silent for a moment so all the cebrities (and the audience at home) can think of all the people who helped them get to where they are. "I'll watch the time" *something in my eye . . .my allergies are acting up*
