The Episode Formerly Known as Mousecop

Are carnivals training grounds for desperate gamblers, or is it just Luke and Andrew? I think there's actually a huge difference between these midway games for kids and the games you play in a casino. In a casino you actually could win something of equal or higher value to what you put in. The plush beer mascots filled Chinese newspaper, on the other hand, aren't worth the dollar you mooched from your friends while they were in line for The Wild Thing.

While Luke and Andrew are climbing their own personal Everests of addiction, Jim Whittaker climbed the real one 50 years ago today and tells what it was like (spoiler alert: it was hard). Also on the show, Luke implores you to name your kid Mike.

My song of the day today is a May Day selection by the wonderful Josh Kerns. Enjoy!
