I bet all of our non sport friendos are excited to hear about the Seahawks and the Super Bowl for the next month or so. I apologize in advance for the position by position breakdowns I'll be posting over the next two weeks. The frame by frame breakdown of the final play of Sunday's NFC Championship game I'm planning for next week probably won't be of much interest to you either.

I'm not really going to write any of those things I said up there. I'm not some kind of sports nerd. The Seahawks are going to come up in the blog a lot in the next few weeks because this almost never happens. If you don't like sport, I don't expect you to understand, but I grew up here watching our sports teams lose. Winning a major sports championship never felt like a real possibility until 2006. After we lost that game, and then the Sonics two years later, if felt like Seattle wasn't supposed to win. These Seahawks make me feel like we can't lose. It's a good feeling. Having a winning team can do a lot for morale if you're into sports. It's not too late to join in the fun. You don't have to know anything about football, or do any work, you just have to want a win.
