TBTL WITH LUKE BURBANK

We’re All Back!

Jul 8, 2014, 7:46 AM | Updated: 7:50 am

I’m back! I survived camping with two small children. Barely. It was touch and go there for a bit. If you wanna hear more about my experience you can read it here. Otherwise, just know I would never recommend camping with a mobile one-year old. Never ever ever.

But I’m back! And Luke and Andrew are back! Exclamation points!

So… Luke moved TBTL HQ. I didn’t really get the vibe that things weren’t working out at the podcast’s former location. Were there confrontations or were personalities clashing or something? Did I have to read between the lines to get it? Totally surprised. It sounds like a great residence, though, and who doesn’t want a non-working fireplace to look at when it’s 90 degrees outside?

Can we all agree that David is the coolest little brother ever? I want him to be by little brother. I wonder if he’s available. Why was David on the show, you ask? Because Song of the Summer is back! We got to listen to three of the songs and it sounds like it’s going to be a very pop-fueled list this year. Maybe I’m wrong. We’ll find out throughout the week!

It’s sincerely great to be back blogging for you fine folks. Home has never sounded so good.

New York Times columnist David Carr died on Thursday night. The guys did a great job eulogizing him and there's little praise I could add.

Harper “Buddy” Lee: You Can’t Bust Her!

I spent a blog "week off" mourning the Sea-Yuks loss but I was still listening to the show. There are so many issues it feels like time for my first USA Today/Larry King style post.

Touched “a” Verve… or “The” Verve?

On the morning of January 23rd, 2006 my phone rang while I was eating breakfast. I had a sore throat so my "hello" was weak and hoarse.
