TBTL WITH LUKE BURBANK

But wait! There’s more!

Sep 2, 2014, 7:53 AM | Updated: 8:03 am

Not only was there a huge build up to the TBTL Picnic sponsored by Chateau Ste Michelle, and then there was the actual event, and then there was the show taped during the actual event, but now there’s a blog post about it!
In case you’re burned out on it, there’s a small consolation:

I have pictures.

The picnic, or as I called it, the Dessert Bar, was awesome. Tens meeting tens, albinos meeting Jens, Rudy’s gnawing on a blogger’s hand. I got to play some Pat-A-Cake with a cute little boy named Jackson, and my husband, also named Luke, got to babysit kids of all ages while he flew his drone helicopter overhead during some of the taping. There was even a little karaoke sung mostly by our littlest tens. I think me and another ten (Jenn?) decided kids should be called 9’s. So it was a fun gathering of 9s, 10s, and 11s.

I missed Andrew, though. Heck, I still miss Andrew. I’m looking forward to the show, the weather, and my life heading into the autumnal season.

Okay fine. Here are the pictures you’ve been waiting for.
Many thanks to Linh for taking these and sharing them with me and with all of you!

New York Times columnist David Carr died on Thursday night. The guys did a great job eulogizing him and there's little praise I could add.

Harper “Buddy” Lee: You Can’t Bust Her!

I spent a blog "week off" mourning the Sea-Yuks loss but I was still listening to the show. There are so many issues it feels like time for my first USA Today/Larry King style post.

Touched “a” Verve… or “The” Verve?

On the morning of January 23rd, 2006 my phone rang while I was eating breakfast. I had a sore throat so my "hello" was weak and hoarse.
