From the Red Carpet to the Red Tape

Did anyone else have the Welcome Back, Kotter theme playing in their head when the show started today? What about “Reunited and it feels so good”? Burbank and Walshtastic were back together and I kinda wished I could be there. Not kinda. I wish I could be there. Mostly because I’d like to meet Andrew. I wouldn’t hug him, though. I respect his personal space. But I’ve met Luke, Jen, and Sean so I’d like to top off my TBTL Celebrity bucket list by meeting him. Someday…
I wrote a blog post for Monday’s show but it pretty much amounted to, “What do you say when you meet a famous person?” and the time it took to write it and post it wasn’t even worth you guys reading it. I saved you. You’re welcome.
But here comes Luke today talking about all the red tape he encountered when he was shooting a video down in California. Who doesn’t wanna be in a video? If someone came up to me and appeared to be legit, I’d totally do it! Maybe everyone had already reached the pinnacle of their 15 minutes of fame and didn’t wanna go over their fame quota. Those crazy L.A. people.
So I guess now I have two questions which makes this blog post worth your time. What would you say, or have you said, when you’ve met a famous person AND if someone came up to you in a similar scenario which Luke described, would you be a willing participant?
P.S. Man, I love Al Green.
