I brushed past this on the last entry, but here’s an official announcement. Toni Hammer is getting her literary career started in earnest. She is now a mainstay on the mommy blog circuit and is about to complete her first book. You can find links to her and her work on Twitter @realtonihammer, and I know she would be thrilled if you Liked her Facebook Page Toni Hammer, Is It Bedtime Yet?

This means you get more of me. Aside from the sharpshooting I’m enjoying the interaction with the Tens. Also, this is a platform from which it’s much easier to make Andrew uncomfortable.I won’t be recaps as I assume you have already listened to the show. What I promise to deliver are my observations, opinions, and personal stories when they relate to the subject matter. If it makes you feel good, bad, angry, or sad I want to hear from you. You can leave a comment here and I will see it but I can’t crack the code on responding. A better idea would be to comment on the FB post or just message me.

TBTL’s new Friday practice of doing one show, then clearing out the nerdlingers and having “Sports Extra” after hours is a stroke of genius. I’m all over this like a Twitch-TV fan on a Call of Duty PPV tournament. At the very least it eliminates all of the apologies to the hens in the audience who hate sports. I love sports. But I know it’s a stupid habit so I don’t get upset when you make fun of me.

Since we’re plugging things here remember Jennifer Andrews will be on TBTL Monday! Also, the podcast I do with fellow Ten Matt Baca comes out every Monday morning. You can find the latest shows at TakedownPodcast.com If you’re not faint of heart we have a lot of fun on our FB page as well.

Follow me @drewmcfrizz on Twitter. Friend me on Facebook where it’s all 7-Day Weather screen grabs all the time. My “government” is Mike Frizzell.

New York Times columnist David Carr died on Thursday night. The guys did a great job eulogizing him and there's little praise I could add.

Harper “Buddy” Lee: You Can’t Bust Her!

I spent a blog "week off" mourning the Sea-Yuks loss but I was still listening to the show. There are so many issues it feels like time for my first USA Today/Larry King style post.

Touched “a” Verve… or “The” Verve?

On the morning of January 23rd, 2006 my phone rang while I was eating breakfast. I had a sore throat so my "hello" was weak and hoarse.
