Drew came here today to make a life changing announcement

It's the 2011 Sweetberry Wine Tasting!

Gather up some tens, some friends, maybe even some family and conduct your own blind taste test to help us choose our official Holiday Wine.

These are the 3 bottles you will need, widely available in grocery stores around the country and maybe even the world. (From the vineyards of our beloved sponsor, Chateau Ste. Michelle.)

*Syrah - 2008 Columbia Valley

*Merlot - 2009 CSM Indian Wells

*Cabernet - 2008 Columbia Valley

You have until November 15th to email me (jen@tbtl.net) your winning wine and how many people voted.

    Austin Tens?
Just moved down to Austin, and would love to get together with some 10's to do a wine-off. We should do it up real big style, because Texas is also Large. It could be held at high-deuce!

AusTens may do this thing. Follow me on Twitter @drewmcfrizz or friend me on Facebook (Mike Frizzell) and we'll make plans.

    Tenvers!
Justin and I are having a sweetberry wine tasting at our house on Friday, November 4. I don't think I'm friends with all the Tenvers on Facebook, so please friend me on FB - Robin DeGrassi James - if you want to come. I promise to not skimp on the crackers!

    Stanwood... the place to be.
So, seeing as there are so many world-wide gatherings being arranged, I should probably mention that the Stanwood Tens thing is actually gonna be kind of a gathering and whatnot… so if you live in the “South-Snohomish-North-Skagit” area and are interested in some TBTL Holiday Wine Blind Tasting and Tired and Emotion-Ale not blind testing then email us at… lymancutler@yahoo.com (I'm still not into the Facebook thing...)

    StaTen Islanders?
Or ManhatTens....I can get the boat....I was wondering who's around here in the New York Area. The Facebook page for the NY Tens is defunct. I would be REALLY surprised if there are other Tens on Staten Island.

    Another ManhaTen here
Melitzer, I've been mourning the lack of the NY Tens Facebook group as well... I'm here in Manhattan and would be up for a tasting.

    yay New York!
Although it's a big frikken state, I know there's at least one other Ten but she's in Rochester which is basically Canadia. Just 2 people?... there has to be more than 2 in this area. But, we can make it work! email me at melazond ---gmail blah blah blah. Maybe I'll start a NEW new york tens group on facebook. I've never been in charge of something before but I'm pretty dedicated to this show.

It makes my heart hurt to see all these awesome gatherings. Could there be any other tens in Ithaca? Sheila in Ithaca

    Oh yay NYC!
I'm a somewhat recent listener and was just wondering how to find others in NYC since the FB page is out. Would love to meet up!

    Hey NOLA Tens...
My wife Jo and I are going to be visiting New Orleans from 11/10-14 and we'd love to meet up with some Tens while we're there. We were going to try and connect anyway, but now we have a good reason to. Anybody down there want to get together and taste some wine (perhaps followed by hurricanes on the patio at Pat O'Brien's). Email (mike.mccawley@comcast.net) or find me on FB (Mike McCawley).

    Tacoma Tens?
I know I could drive my lazy arse northbound for a Seattle gathering, but I actually like kicking around my beloved T-Town (it's awesome, no really!). Are there any other Tacoma Tens out there who might like to share this sweet berry wine experiment?

    @CyberJon
If you are referring to me (and my over-inflated sense of self-worth tells me you might be) there is no life changing announcement. It is a drop from Oprah from a Drew Barrymore appearance on her show.

    But, Drew...
Given that opening, why not make a Life Changing Announcement? Examples: From now on, I'm eating NOTHING but carrots! Or, Henceforth, I'm voting for the Whig party!

Pittsburgh Tens (am I the only one?)
I can't think of a cute moniker for tens in Pittsburgh. City of ChampiTENS seems a little self serving... Anyway, a long shot I know, but is anyone in the greater Pittsburgh (PA) area going to do this? I can think of a few BYO locations around town that would be fun. If there is any interest, just reply to my comment! Sam
