TBTL is Champagne Saberers

SABER

Our German friends Elysia, Jen & Gary (AKA The WiesbadTENs) put together this amazing video of them learning the fine art of Champagne sabering! You got to check it out. This looks amazing, guys. And nice production work!

Remember, this is Bing's Summer of Doing! I'm going to post more Champagne sabering videos and pics here. Watch for updates on this post.

    Sorry, but spelling...
The sabering looks hmmm, fun but dangerous, but just had to comment that the bubbly drink is spelled "CHAMPAGNE". Might help with Bing searches. Cheers!

    Champaign
Champaign is a city in Illinois though. If you go around Champaign with a Sabre you might get arrested however.

Oh god. That is embarrassing. Thanks for the heads-up, Anthy. I'm changing it now. Let's never tell anyone about this, okay?

It's okay. I thought it was the new hipster way of spelling "Champagne"

Hold on, we're letting the French dictate how things are spelled? No way, man! USA! USA! The English language has a long, proud tradition of anglicizing words to make them match our spelling whims. So... ummm... not racist?

I care about spelling AND Hammer Time
I kind of like that TBTL is the nexus of people with both sensibilities. B T Dubs, yes, awesome video. Until now (having not yet Bing'd champagne sabering) I thought you cut the top of the bottle clean off. D'oh!

LOVE the video. Like any good ten, I have a bottle of champagne in my fridge at all times. Now to find the saber.
