Universal Pictures and AMC theaters are partnering up to give U.S. veterans and active-duty servicemembers the opportunity to see the new film “Thank You for Your Service” free of charge.

The film follows a group of U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq who struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life.

“Thank You for Your Service” is directed by Jason Hall, the writer of Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper. Listen to his interview with Jason Rantz here.

Participating AMC theaters are offering preview showings of the film on Thursday, October 26. The first 25 servicemembers at each showing with valid, government-issued ID get in free. Screenings begin at 7:00 p.m.

“Thank You for Your Service” opens nationwide on October 27.
