TCTI: Too Crazy Too Ignore

More gang activity in Washington DC

As sure as the earth revolves around the sun, and the solar system hurtles through the Milky Way, the US Government is tumbling toward the fiscal cliff, a man-made precipice constructed entirely of negative numbers, which will force huge government spending cuts, and hit 88 percent of taxpayers with a tax increase averaging $3500.

It may sound hopeless, but help is on the way!

"CBS News has learned that a select group of US Senators who call themselves the Gang of Eight will meet for the next three days in Virginia at Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington."

And under the steely gaze of the Father of our Country this gang of four republicans and four democrats -- will try to steer us away from the fiscal cliff.

Just as back in 2010, the 18 member Simpson-Bowles committee tried to do it.

And just last year the 12 member Supercommittee tried to do it.

And now the Gang of Eight will try.

At least the gangs are getting smaller.

By the way, the other development on the fiscal front is that according to the latest Obama Ad. We finally know who to blame for the government's money troubles.

At least the president managed to milk something out of that debate.

Whatever comes out of this gang, it's got to be better than the current bunch. ...
The gangs who couldn't shoot straight. aka the Chicago thugs & the House.

I suppose the less egos the easier to compromise, and that's a good thing. But when Ronald Reagan and Tip O'Neill sat down to work things out, it was just the tow of them. ..... I hope we don't need to make a couple more cuts before we get something done in DC. But be quick. It's not like ANYONE on DC will be working again until after the elections.

BTW, use of Big Bird on an Obama ad was a real stroke of ingenuity . Truly the product of a real bird brain.

I am sorry Dave, this is for show. Republicans have no interest in compromising on anything as long as Barack is in office. Remember, there pledge to the American people was not to do there job, but to make Barack a one term president. If they would compromise just before the election, it would put a feather in the Presidents hat, can't have that now can we. Mission accomplished

Sports guy - it's a 2 way street both ways
First, It seems Obama's idea of compromise is how much of HIS plan will be accepted and how much put off. Entertaining House republican ideas has not been his idea of compromise.

Secondly, near EVERY TIME a president is elected, the other party strives to make his a single term only. Even the greatest had uncompromising opposition.

But, unfortunately, I'm concluding that the Reagan/O'Neill cooperation was the rarity on the past - not the rule. Think about it. Otherwise, no one EVER compromises unless forced to.

Yeah thanks for the warning Paul, thank god I don't live in the hood anymore, I stay in the suburbs. Now when I did stay in the hood, I was never attack by a mob of blacks. Everytime I got attacked by a mob of people, they were WHITE.

btw, how do you know what I look like? I am cool with the brothers, they typically give me a pass when I am in the hood, I am taking care of and protecting there kids and mentoring them. I am not there just for a check and/or creating barrier for them, lol. They love the sportsguru.

you have described yourself many times here. The importance you place on your ethnicity and skin color is obviously something that you center your life around.

Now come on...I am supposed to believe that you lived in the hood and were never attacked by blacks but more than once by a mob of whites? Is this like that story you once told of seeing your family members hung from trees and dragged behind pickup trucks by the white hillbillies?

You do have a vivid imagination guru.....I give you that. I've lived in the hood myself....and I know jiveass horseshite when I see it.

ha,ha,ha, good one Paul. That's exactly what I said when I read your KKK article.

Apparently, you think all blacks violently kill each other and beat each other up on site because they are violent savages uncapable of living a lawful life and being productive patriotic citizens even though we have fought in every war since the civil war and help build this country and are the biggest comsumer's of American and international goods in America, lol.

The only time that I actually killed someone and was trained to act savagely, I was under the direct orders to act this way by a WHITE MAN. Papa Bush, those darn muslims.

are you sure you were in Gulf War I?
Colin Powell was the Chairman of the Joints Chiefs of Staff and was the top military leader at the time. He was responsible to coordinate the strategy of the war. He said the strategy would be to "isolate the Iraqi army and then kill it". He was a great General. Powell answered to the Commander in Chief....not you. If you were in the military, Powell was the highest level of your command structure.

Yes, at least the president managed to mild something out of that debate
    The Emperor has no clothes.

To The Anointed One's supporters, I pose a few questions:

    1. How many Cabinet meetings has he held this year?

How many of his jobs council meetings has he held this year?

How many of his daily intelligence briefings has he attended this year?

How many trade agreements has his administration negotiated during his presidency?

How many heads of state has he met with this year?

And then compare those numbers to the number of entertainment television appearances and Hollywood fundraisers he's attended this year.
