TCTI: Too Crazy Too Ignore

Well that didn't take as long as we thought

Election night certainly didn't go as some of our most beloved pundits predicted.

"My intellectual analysis of this, factoring everything I see, plus the polling data, not even close, 300 plus electoral votes for Romney," said Rush Limbaugh.

"My personal guess is you'll see a Romney landslide, 300 electoral votes plus, and we may come very close to capturing control of the Senate in that context," said Newt Gingrich.

Of course Rush and Newt weren't troubling themselves with actual analysis. But even Karl Rove, who does do actual analysis, talks about charging into battle without body armor! He goes on Fox and challenges his own network's call.

"No, I don't," he said.

Megyn Kelly goes into the back room to check with the numbers guys, who say, 'no, there's no mistake,' but Rove remembers Florida in 2000.

"We've got to be careful about calling things when we have like 991 votes separating the two candidates and a quarter of the vote left to count," said Rove.

But as it turns out, Fox's numbers guys were right, and the New York Times numbers guy Nate Silver was right, and that's scary.

Numbers guys are young and smart, and they may be accurate, but they are inherently boring -- and if this spells the end of uninformed cheerleader commentary; if pom-pom punditry is dead -- there's gonna be a lot of time to fill.

I guess we can still fight over what's the real America -- Norman Rockwell's America, or the America that re-elected Barack Obama. Except with the popular vote being pretty much tied, it turns out that the new real America must be just as real as the old real America.

    America is changing.
The right can no longer rely on homophobes, Christian zealots, racists or women rights oppressors to win elections. It is a good day for America.

Yes the country is changing sadly.
So many have rejected the moral and social values that made this country the greatest in the world. As our youth are lead away from religion and closer to evil, we see the results. Our country is sliding away from pride and excellence and moving toward being lazy and unmotivated and dependace upon the regime for it's needs. Kids are taught in school to reject the ways of our grandparents and accept Liberal indoctrination and tell parents that they are racist hate-filled Homophobes all the usual left wing hate rhetoric. Romney was wrong. It was not 47 percent. It is 50 percent who are totally dependent upon Liberals and this regime.

Lord have mercy. The problem is not that liberals have lost their religion.
The problem is that religious liberals and religious conservatives worship from different testaments. Conservatives are far more fond of the Old Testament, Liberal ideas match more closely with the New Testament. In Matthew 25:31-46, Jesus proclaims that how you treat the hungry, the thirsty, the sick and other "least of these," is how you treat Jesus himself. By that standard you think Jesus is an unmotivated lazy fruck who can't take responsibility for himself. Jesus couldn't stand the establishment and he was killed for it and he hated the way the church was behaving itself too. He thought the "traditional" way was wrong and he spoke up. The truth is you got nothing to back up your claims. You take a drive around 4, 5, 6 am in poor areas and you'll see people waiting in line for the bus and those people are not going to the welfare line. They're going to work. People in this country work very hard and they still struggle. The lazy people you speak of are the minority. The rest of the people you despise are hard working americans and more importantly all children of God and you hate them for it. Jesus would be ashamed of you. So shut the fruck up about religion, you are so far from Jesus he's working on your salvation, not mine.

...and his praise of Obama, and the way they worked together for the betterment and well being of the people affected by the storm, is EXACTLY the blueprint that Obama, the Senate, and the House need to take with them into Obama's second term. Figure it out, take politics out of their decisions, make compromises, and work with the welfare of the GENERAL public in mind. It should not have to take a natural disaster for people that we elect to understand this.

Well now! This statement does not sound a lot like love. It does sound like hate. Hate for all who do not agree with and see life as you do,gaymarriedchristianfromhollywood!

I got nothing but love for you baby.
But your statement of "hate for all who do not agree with and life as you do" is just a wee bit hypocritical don't you think? Lets neither one of act like we are hurt or offended by blog postings. We're both been around the block a few times.
