To protect against tyranny

All over the country, the guns are flying out the door.

Not just any guns, but as you might expect, the very guns the President wants to ban on the grounds that in the wrong hands they are just too deadly.

Now obviously these gun-buyers are not going to shoot up a classroom. But you might ask, why DO they need such weapons?

Well let's think back a few days, when Texas Representative Louie Gohmert answered that very question.

"A free people should be an armed people," said Gohmert. "It insures against the tyranny of the government if they know the biggest army is the American people, then you don't have the tyranny that came from King George."

It's what the founders believed. It's why they insisted on a Second Amendment 225 years ago. But we should at least take a moment to think through what that would mean today.

It would mean that some Americans are arming themselves so that, if necessary, they can fire upon members of the U.S. military. Should our government go rogue, and dispatch blindly obedient soldiers to march through our neighborhoods to round us up, we will ambush them - just as the Taliban would.

That's what I find weird - Americans arming themselves so that if necessary, they can kill the very soldiers that we now thank for their service at every opportunity.

But these soldiers are the sons and daughters that we raised, aren't they? If the order ever went out to round up and enslave the citizenry, wouldn't our sons and daughters say 'hell no' or would we really have to shoot at them?

    I agree with logical. Not a peep from the media about black on black murders or the gang relate killings in Chicago. Obama doesn't shed a tear for them because he wasn't on TV. In a city that doesn't even allow a LAW ABIDING CITIZEN to have a working firearm the number of murders this year will break a record. It goes to show that gun laws don't work as only the criminals will have guns. Now if only these gang bangers all over our fine country would learn to shoot straight just think of how many more dirt bags could be removed from the gene pool!! If they get shot dead then we won't have to pay for their medical care either. I wonder if a gunshot wound is a pre existing condition under Obamacare?

    If this had been inter city school kids of different race there who be same old story as long as they kill each other we (NRA)suporter can sell a tank under The Second Amendment (Amendment II) of the United States Constitution , but the faces and place is as real to those that were killed/just like everyday that other community. Lot of cowards with guns who claim Second Amendment rights and those who just kill because they can get guns

    Just like how deadly Benghazi is in the hands of the Dear Leader! Obama and his regime needs to get out of my life. And the life's of the rest of us Americans. The ones who DID NOT condemn us to FOUR MORE YEARS of this insanity!

    How many Black children are murdered in our cities every day? How much news coverage does this slaughter receive? WHY NOT? Why are not the so called Black Leaders in this nation in an uproar over this? Why is not Obama? Not even a peep out of him and his regime over this. Only when a white male kills other people. Are not all lives precious?

    Our children are being murdered, slaughtered, by other children filled with evil. Killed by adults consumed with evil and illegal access to instruments that can cause large number of deaths!z

    The guns, the true Assault weapons, used on the street and no calls for Gun controls there but the Left wing Media nation wide blitz attacking a SEMI AUTOMATIC rifle. NOT an ASSAULT WEAPON.

    There is no plan, NON WHATSOEVER!, to attempt to curb this violence and evil. I believe that it is all designed to keep the masses fearful and dependent upon this regime to keep them all safe from themselves.
