Gun Appreciation Day

I know it's Gun Appreciation Day, so I thought I would highlight the part of gun ownership that a lot of people who want to control them don't understand. They're fun.

This young man is put up a video demonstrating his Dirty Harry replica:

And when you get older, you seek different types of fun -- but it's still fun. I found this video that shows you how to take a semi-automatic rifle, and using an accessory called a bump stock, make it fire almost like a fully automatic weapon.

Fully automatic weapons have been strictly controlled since 1986 and are very expensive -- up to $15,000. But with this method, you can get pretty close for only a few hundred.

And it's perfectly legal, at least for now. By the way, if you're keeping track, those last 24 rounds took 2.37 seconds to fire.

    You don't like firearms, you really would prefer we only take the amendments that are in the constitution to heart that we believe in. So Dave, have you heard they want to put restrictions on freedom of speech, freedom of the press......and then we can all watch as you have a major meltdown.

    WOW, that gun can kill 3000 grade school children in just 5 minutes. No wonder why the NRA loves those guns.

    Sorry, an M4 profile barrel will overheat somewhere around 300 rounds and will be nearly impossibe to hold without heavy gloves. My guess is at around 500 the barrel will fail and the rounds will start going out the side of the barrel foreward of the chamber. The gastube on the AR15 at 500 has probably melted and the rounds are kicking off thermally even if the trigger isn't depressed. So Seattle your wet dream of killing 3000 children can't happen with todays AR15.

    OK clown, little test for you. Go video yourself pulling a trigger 3,000 times in a 5 minute period and post it on YouTube....oh, and make sure you include yourself carrying the aproximately 100 pounds of ammo not including the weight of the magazines as well as swapping out those magazines...oh, and also run around an area the size of a school and show that you can be accurate in doing so. Idiot.

    I wonder how they're going to enforce their own arrests. The magazine limits they just created as a state override of the constitution had no exclusions for police weapons...so all of the police are now carrying illegal firearms. Way to go dems...you've made an entire state full of criminals. Of course you'll only selectively enforce your laws because that's just the sort of corrupt thing democrats do.

    Exactly...the laws are only made to apply to us peons...the democrat elites are above the law. The Obama admin is filled with criminals who aren't being prosecuted. Heck, Obama had a tax cheat running the treasury. Obama personally gives cover to other criminals in his admin like Eric Holder.

    Talk about a culture of corruption...it's permeated our government.

    As usual yet another moronic post from you. The sales increase is because the dems are threatening gun rights, not because people are "thrilled" to see children killed.     I'm rather fond of the idiot who, out of fear of Obama and his gun control desided to try to steal a gun...as if he couldn't steal one after the laws were passed.     It isn't what form of arm is going to be added to those available to American citizen now is it? The real question is what's next for all you fascists? What rights do you want to take away next? You going to repeal the 13th amendment and return slavery to the US?
