Just when you thought you'd heard the last Obama conspiracy theory

The New Republic this week printed an interview with the President discussing a number of important subjects, but the answer that bubbled up was about his personal attitude toward guns. He said he appreciated that shooting can be a healthy family activity and then said that he himself does skeet shooting all the time at Camp David.

Which would undermine the gun-grabber image that his critics have been trying to paint. And that might be why Rep. Marsa Blackburn of Tennessee, apparently an accomplished skeet shooter, was skeptical.

"If he is a skeet shooter, why have we not heard of this, why have we not seen photos why has he not referenced it?" asked Blackburn.

The White House briefing the next day only deepened the mystery, when a reporter asked if there was a photograph of him skeet shooting.

"There may be, but I haven't seen it," responded White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.

The New Republic yesterday tweeted a picture of Obama holding a shotgun, but had to immediately apologize after Internet sleuths discovered it had been Photoshopped. He'd actually been holding a golf club.

I have to say something doesn't add up. If this were Vladimir Putin, by now we'd have a studio portrait showing him standing atop a 20-foot pile of pulverized clay, bare chested, with a shotgun in his teeth and a wild tiger draped around his neck.

First he was from Kenya; there were doubts about his birth Then he was a Muslim, for what that might be worth. And the White House will not say with reasonable precision whether he has now or ever pulverized clay pigeons?

We're in a world of truthers, and of birthers, and of tweeters and now to those we'll have to add another group - the Skeeters.

The entire mainstream media remains completely stumped but I'm guessing this is dead - until we hear from Donald Trump.

    It's like this, the democrats are flat out much better liars than the Republicans, period. The sheeple follow whatever he says no matter if it's the truth or not. Look at Bengazi, look at the real stats on gun violence, it is down dramatically. He promises everything and delivers Obamacare to control your life. Now he skeet shoots, laughable! A 12 gauge would knock his weenie butt over. Over the cliff we go! Sweet!

    He probably skeet shoots like he throws baseballs. Skeet shooting has nothing to do with the 2nd amendment. It's about personal defense.

    And, remember, Obama told us Afghanistan was the 'RIGHT' war. Most of the (now 4000+/-) US deaths in Afghanistan have been under Obama's watch. ...... And we gained absolutely nothing by staying in Iraq the first 3 years of Oz.

    Were Obama serious about ending the wars, he should have pulled us out of both immediately. ............. And as for the younger kids ? --- It's just as much a political game to Obama. No real concern,

    Yes they did believe that WMDs existed because the SOS told the World that they did. Hasn't it gotten through to you yet that the Bush Admin LIED about WMDs in order to win support from Congress and The World (UN)? I did NOT agree with Obama increasing troop strength in Afghanistan however if the reason was to get Bin Laden and to attack the power structure of Al Qaeda then Obama was spot on saying that it was "The Right war".Obama is absolutely serious about pulling out the speed of the withdrawal is not as important as actually leaving. He coud not have simply folded up the tents and left both countries immediately that just a stupid thing to suggest.You gotta get sharper Ron P I'll point it out when ever I see you make such Stupid comments

    First off, the WORLD believed Iraq had WMDs because Saddam Hussein had had then - and claimed he did still have them - and was not proven wrong until later. Boy George may have wanted that war, but he-himself-wasn't smart enough to tell a convincing lie.

    And that 'right war' gig doesn't fly very fay when you consider bin Laden spent his time in Pakistan and al Qaeda is long gone. All we are left fighting in the Taliban and disgruntled members if the Afghan army. ..... But I guess I'm just not as smart as you about getting out of unwanted and pointless wars. Is it only when we have a Republican president that we should leave immediately? ... And with a leftist, we can wait forever to leave ???????
