TCTI: Too Crazy Too Ignore

Just when you thought you'd heard the last Obama conspiracy theory

The New Republic this week printed an interview with the President discussing a number of important subjects, but the answer that bubbled up was about his personal attitude toward guns. He said he appreciated that shooting can be a healthy family activity and then said that he himself does skeet shooting all the time at Camp David.

Which would undermine the gun-grabber image that his critics have been trying to paint. And that might be why Rep. Marsa Blackburn of Tennessee, apparently an accomplished skeet shooter, was skeptical.

"If he is a skeet shooter, why have we not heard of this, why have we not seen photos why has he not referenced it?" asked Blackburn.

The White House briefing the next day only deepened the mystery, when a reporter asked if there was a photograph of him skeet shooting.

"There may be, but I haven't seen it," responded White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.

The New Republic yesterday tweeted a picture of Obama holding a shotgun, but had to immediately apologize after Internet sleuths discovered it had been Photoshopped. He'd actually been holding a golf club.

I have to say something doesn't add up. If this were Vladimir Putin, by now we'd have a studio portrait showing him standing atop a 20-foot pile of pulverized clay, bare chested, with a shotgun in his teeth and a wild tiger draped around his neck.

First he was from Kenya; there were doubts about his birth Then he was a Muslim, for what that might be worth. And the White House will not say with reasonable precision whether he has now or ever pulverized clay pigeons?

We're in a world of truthers, and of birthers, and of tweeters and now to those we'll have to add another group - the Skeeters.

The entire mainstream media remains completely stumped but I'm guessing this is dead - until we hear from Donald Trump.

Why didn't Luke pick up on this?
It's as believable as his death defying escape from the shooting at the Twilight Exit - that he stayed home from.

    Yeah, get "The Donald" involved!
As we know, Donald Trump is the FINAL AUTHORITY on all truthful investigative reporting when it comes to President Obama (found that birth certificate yet, Donald?). He puts Woodward and Bernstein to shame!

    Bush fixed the economy?
Are you better off TODAY under this regime than you were Jan, 30 2006 before the Liberals took over Congress? If you were working and paying taxes most likely yes you were!

    Prez44 has many question marks.
Law professor or occasional law lecturer? University of Chicago Law School or University of Illinois at Chicago Law School? Law Review editor or president of Law Review? Composite fictional girlfriend in his own book? Degree of past drug use? Still a closet smoker? I would bet on Marsha Blackburn in any skeet shooting contest!!

    Does it really matter?
I don't think many folks care about this... I honestly can't say whether he does or does not shoot clay pidgeons but I honestly don't think it matters... My only concern about guns is whether or not our 2nd Amendment rights are protected... There's so much public outcry because of recent tragedies i'm concerned that people will make a knee-jerk reaction and respond compulsively by trying to limit or take away our 2nd amendment rights... On this issue i disagree with Obama and the Dems completely... you can't take people's rights away... and even though the sentiment itself has value, attacking specific guns isn't going to change anything anyways, it's a scapegoat for a larger problem and that problem is not a gun problem it's a people problem, unfortunately nobody has the guts to admit the obvious... people are the problem and we have no idea how to fix that problem.

    You guys are so funny
You are the President of the United States, you use a fabulous vacation retreat, probably an amazing collection of historic and modern firearms at your disposal, a skeet range sitting right there and you're NOT going to try it?

So because he doesn't want to have 30 and 100 round mags flooding the streets, he is not going to take the Krieghoff out for a test run?

    On his own private range?

You guys are just too silly.

    How much does Barry weigh?
180? I could probably pick this guy up and throw him three, maybe four feet. That's about as far as I would ever trust the guy.
