Marshawn Lynch - the bestest pal a friend could haveon November 11, 2013 @ 7:29 am (Updated: 10:27 am - 11/11/13 )
It's not that he runs a lot, but he's knocking over the 250 pound guys as he does it, and then three people finally drag him down.
The stats show he ran for 145 yards Sunday, 70 of which, according to ESPN, came after a defender tried to knock him down.
Coach Pete Carroll noticed it too. "Marshawn was on it today again," he said after the game. "He played great football, he ran like crazy, he ran a ton of yards, and I just loved the intensity he brought."
Watching Marshawn Lynch carry a ball is like watching a cement mixer bounce through traffic, going the wrong way.
It's like he's running up hill. In an avalanche. Punching the boulders.
It's like he's a Roomba in a room full of cats.
And he doesn't stop after the game.
During the post-game show, teammate Zach Miller was being interviewed by our post-game crew moments before the team's flight took off, but Marshawn thought he deserved a rest.
"We're on the flight right now," he said "Can you please call back tomorrow? Zach just went through battle and y'all want to talk. Zach is tired, he wants to sleep. It's about a four and-a-half hour flight, he would like to get some rest. He's got to go home to twins. And he doesn't really want to hear what y'all want to talk about now. I'm sorry, we appreciate it, thank you."
No, thank you, Marshawn. You're the bestest pal a friend could have.
