TCTI: Too Crazy Too Ignore

Watch your Okole, America

As if this Secret Service scandal wasn't weird enough already.

"Now this is getting weirder by the minute," said Greta Van Susteren.

Greta Van Susteren talks to Sarah Palin about HER link to the secret Service scandal. Because one of the agents fired for the sex romp in Cartagena had been assigned to Sarah Palin in 2008 and posted on his Facebook page a picture of himself in sunglasses watching Sarah Palin, and says he was "checking her out."

Which brought this reaction from Mrs. Palin:

"Check this out bodygaurd, you're fired," said Palin. "I hope his wife kicks his Okole and sends him to the dog house, as long as he's not eating the dog along with his former boss."

OK -- Okole is Hawaiian for buttocks -- but what's the dog reference?

Well, it's from Barack Obama's book where he describes what he ate as a kid in Indonesia:

"I was introduced to dog meat, tough, snake meat, tougher, and roasted grasshopper, crunchy," said Obama.

But Palin's ultimate point is that Barack Obama must take responsibility for the Secret Service scandal.

"It's a known out there that our president has poor management skills," said Palin.

Although as Greta pointed out to her:

"The Secret Service event that happened with regard to you was during the race when he wasn't even president, so obviously there were problems in the secret service as far back as then."

And out of all this, you know the image I can't get out of my mind?

"Roasted grasshopper, crunchy."

How far away is that election?

    @ Chuck Gould
"...Obama freely admitted that the Secret Service screwed up..."???

Since this was being covered wall to wall all over the world, did he really "freely admit it"? It's not like he came to the media and or the American public and divulged the whole incident without motive.

I agree, blaming Obama for this is politics 101. The only way he shares any responsibility is if nothing gets done when the "investigation" is concluded. So far, it looks like changes are being made. Good on Obama for that.

But to state he "freely admitted" anything in regards to this "screw up" sounds like a poor choice of words, IMHO......

    For what it's worth
I don't see this as Obama's fault. He's a terrible "leader", but I very much doubt any president exerts much leadership over secret service operations, Obama included.

and all this from 'main stream' media ?
The actual 'Escort Gate' probably would not have even been exposed, save for the sex angle. If there is any thing that trumps love of Obama with the press, it's a good sex scandal. And, now, that CNN and company can bash Palin, too............ WOW, what do they do to win the trifecta?
