For the kids who grew up in the 90’s, N’Sync coming out to join Justin Timberlake on stage at the Video Music Awards for those 110 seconds was extremely thrilling. It brought us back to a moment of 1998 nostalgia.
N’Sync’s brief medley of “Girlfriend,” “Gone” and “Bye, Bye, Bye” was just one segment of Justin Timberlake’s 15-minute set.
“It was funny because all of us getting back together, we remembered what we love about each other and what we hate about each other,” N’Sync member Chris Kirkpatrick said.
“It was just a bit of fun.”
Although the dancing from a few members was a little rusty, the reunion was successful.
“It was a Beyonce and Destiny’s child Super Bowl move,” says Producer Libby.
It’s safe to say Justin Timberlake stole the night as a result of 2.9 million tweets per second, right behind Miley Cyrus … but that’s a whole other story.
“I love the boy bands, those are my guys right there,” says KIRO Radio’s Don O’Neill.
