We’ll start out today’s shower thoughts with our MyNorthwest.com troll of the week.

This comment came in on my previous post meant to provide encouragement to people going through tough times:
Thank you for not mentioning that you were thinking this over in the shower. Please change that to “Hammock Thoughts” or “Lazy Sunday Drive Thoughts.” Yuck.
And that’s just the one comment that I can actually read on the radio. In the words of Ron Burgundy, “keep it classy, comment section.”
Trolls on the road
While we’re talking about trolls, I turned into one while driving.
Here’s to you, genius Seattle driver who pumps their brakes at every green light. Because, you know, it might turn yellow. Who wants to hit a green light unimpeded and actually get where you’re going in reasonable time? What’s wrong with you?
And to the 34 percent of rideshare employees out there who are horrible drivers — listen to me. You’d think that having the ability to drive would be a requirement for the job? Just because the friendly voice from your map app says you’ve reached your destination, that doesn’t mean you stop in the middle of the lane. Just drive forward 20 feet and pull over to the curb. Putting on your hazards isn’t helping anyone.
Come on man!
Traveling for the holiday
Speaking of rideshare, I’ll be using one this weekend to travel for Thanksgiving week. Am I the only one who has to compulsively get everything done before I can leave? I mean all the bills, all the laundry, all the dishes, all the cleaning. What’s that about? My OCD must be flaring up.
While we’re on the travel tip, I’m super bummed that Alaska Airlines had to end its flights to Cuba. It’s such an amazing country. The people are amazing, and it’s definitely one of the top trips of my life. If you have a sense of adventure, keep Havana on your must go list.
I’ll be off for Thanksgiving, so do this for me: buy some of the cheap cranberry sauce and serve it right out of the can. Just open up both sides and slide it right on to a plate. Trust me, people will love it.
I’m thankful that you listen. It means the world to me.
