More evidence that the technology revolution is rapidly changing the world in which we live. I remember spending hours working on a wish list for Santa. It had to be perfect, to ensure the best chances of getting what you really wanted that year. Then I remember my kids doing the same thing. While both of my children were raised on computers and are very tech savvy, I don’t recall them being this sophisticated just a few years ago. Power Point presentations, wish lists at online registries, webcams and tweets. Thanks to writer Adrienne Mand Lewin at the Today Show for the following eye opener:

Today’s tech-savvy kids have put a new twist on the time-honored tradition of pleading their case for niceness before St. Nick and asking for whatever their hearts desire most. And Santa will even write back.

“The Internet and Santa’s magic work quite well together,” said Alan Kerr, head elf at, adding that answering the more than 1 million letters a year received by the site is nothing compared with delivering gifts around the world in one night.
