The box where a real Seahawks fan can watch the Super Bowl in peace

Some people love Super Bowl parties. Others want to experience the joy of being a 12th Man at a bar, where you can bond with strangers over the beer and the Hawks.

But if you're John Curley's son Ry, you want to watch the game in absolute peace, without interruption.

On Thursday, John told us about his son, Ry's, request to watch the Super Bowl from inside a box. There would be a hole for his eyes, so he could see the TV, and maybe a hole in the side of the box so that his parents could give him some snacks during the game.

After work, John went to a hardware store, picked up a large box that once housed a fancy Japanese toilet, and brought it home for Ry. Only to find out that Ry was speaking of a metaphorical box.

Regardless, Ry tried out the box and liked it. This Sunday, when he watches the Super Bowl, it's where he will be spending his time.

(Hole in the side of the box for food, pending.)
