Celebrating the Seahawks with Tom & Curley

John Curley decided that taking his kids to the Seahawks celebration parade was a perfectly reasonable excuse for his kids to miss a day of class.

He wasn't the only parent to make this decision. According to Seattle Public Schools 565 teachers and 13,523 students were absent.

The historic parade, which had an estimated 700,000 people in attendance (approximately 65,000 more people than the city of Seattle itself) was an historic event for the city for sure.
