The City of Seattle admitted its response to clearing a crash involving a semi-truck carrying thousands of dollars worth of fish could have been different.
The incident that blocked traffic for nine hours March 24 may have been influenced by an insurance adjuster, according to Seattle Police Department counsel Krista Bryan Maxie.
“He expressed some desire if possible the load be preserved because there was three-quarters of a million dollars of fish in the back of the truck,” Maxie said.
The new information sparked a performance by KIRO Radio’s Tom Tangney and John Curley.
