Pop singer Ciara and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson get a lot of guff for their relationship. More specifically on how mushy they are with one another.
The two have taken full advantage of social media, where they continue to profess their love for each other.
“Why do those two need to exchange mushy messages publicly?” KIRO Radio’s John Curley asked.
For example, Wilson complimented Ciara on how she looked while she sang the national anthem before the College Football Playoffs championship game.
Ciara then went on to send Wilson a compliment-fueled Instagram, after the Seahawks lost to the Carolina Panthers.
KIRO Radio’s Tom Tangney says he has no problem with people loving each other.
“But why you have to publicly do it raises questions,” he said. “Is there some kind of doubt in people’s minds…?”
Curley believes the two have chosen to live their lives in a public manner, which means putting many intimate thoughts out in the open. And if one does it, they both have to.
“If not, then it’s like, well, why isn’t Ciara saying something to Russell?” Curley said.
