Man shot, killed at Mount Vernon tattoo shop; gunman at large

A gunman is on the loose after a man was shot and killed Sunday night at a Mount Vernon tattoo shop.

When police arrived on scene, around 6 p.m., multiple people had already run or driven away from the area.

Police tried to track them with a dog, but they were unsuccessful.

Though the gunman is at large, police do not believe there’s an ongoing threat to the Mount Vernon community.

No gunman description was available as of Monday morning.
