Bumbershoot lineup released

You know summer is just around the corner when you begin to think about Seattle's major music festival over Labor Day Weekend.

Bumbershoot's lineup, the shortened version, has officially been released. Headliners include Jane's Addiction, Tony Bennett, and DJ Skrillex. Check out the full lineup here. Other notable artists include Mac Miller, Big Sean, and M83.

Tickets for the festival running Sept. 1-3 at Seattle Center will cost you: 3-Day Admission is $110, Gold 3-Day Admission is $300, Platinum 3-Day Admission is $475.

One Reel, Bumbershoot's organizers, promises a full lineup to be released "soon."

Wasn't this a free even many years ago when it first started ? ... And I thought Seafair was ripping people off with the Hydro races.

Bumbershoot get's worse every year. Let's recap. 2004 The Black Eyed Peas, The Killers, Nas, Seal. 2005 Common, Garbage, Talib Kweli. 2006 Kanye West, 2007 Kings Of Leon, John Legend, Wu-Tang Clan. Let's jump ahead. 2011 Daryl Hall and John Oates. 2012 Tony Bennett. The proof is right there people. Bumbershoot is dying. We can see these washed up acts at our local fairs. Save your money. Seattle deserves better!!
