Soundgarden rocks Segways in new Dave Grohl-directed videoon January 28, 2013 @ 1:45 pm (Updated: 10:05 am - 1/29/13 )
Soundgarden fans can hardly wait for the legendary Seattle band's return to town Feb. 7 and 8 at the Paramount.
In the meantime, they're giving them plenty of chuckles and generating plenty of buzz with their new video for the song "By Crooked Steps."
Directed by Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame, the hilarious video casts Chris Cornell and crew as a Segway-riding biker gang.
Leather-clad, the aging band makes a slow speed assault on a night club, taking over the stage from a DJ spinning disco on his laptop and rocking the new tune. They flee the cops and ultimately get caught after an exhilarating 15 mile an hour police chase, busted by popular DJ Deadmau5.
It's funny stuff. They may be going gray, but clearly the guys in Soundgarden haven't lost their sense of humor.
