Prince to play Seattle for king's ransom

After days of rumors, mega-star Prince has confirmed he's coming to Seattle. But fans will have to pay a princely $250 per ticket to see him.

The seven-time Grammy Award winner and multi-Platinum artist announced Friday he'll play two sets on two consecutive nights at Seattle's Showbox at The Market April 18 and 19 after launching a nine-city West Coast tour April 15 in Vancouver.

The tour is Prince's first with his brand new, all-female backing band, 3RDEYEGIRL.

Prince recently introduced the nation to the band on NBC's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,"performing his newly released song "Screwdriver" and classic tune "Bambi."
