    Tannehill or other QB...
NO SURPRISE at all!!! Carroll is drafting a QB at #12 because Jackson will either be traded or waived before start of 2012 season! And no competition between Flynn & Jackson- it will be between Portis & the new QB draftee to back-up Flynn! Comprende?

If they did do that, think of what that would truly mean. Whoever beats out whoever would either be a rookie was zero NFL starts, or a QB with two NFL starts in garbage time of the season. Then your #2 and #3 would like I typed be "Zero" start guy. I keep T Jack and Flynn and let Tannehill if that is what you want beat out Portis, if he can.

Pete and John on Drafting a QB.
Well its about time. Long Long Long over due. I think John has tried everything else its time to step up Big and sharpen those QB skills and Draft a QB. A good, quality QB. That "part" has been missing in the Seahawks for as long as this franchise has been around. Come on John and Pete step up to the Plate and swing for the Fences. This one spot has been Johns down fall. And untill he can get it right?.

    So....
We didnt want to trade up for Griffin, but we're gonna trade up for Tannehill? I like the upside of Tannehill just as much as the next guy, but there just isnt enough there for a move up to snag him. Stay @12 Pete & snag Mercilus or Perry to get that qb hunter on our defense

    If we appear interested..
Then Miami will think we'll take him at 12 if they don't draft him with their first. If Miami passes on Tannehill they'll most likely take a pass rusher which is what we need. We WANT Miami to take Tannehill so one of the top 3 pass rushers will fall. I think our interest in Tannehill is just a show unless he would fall to the 3rd round

    Potential QB for Hawks
Yeah, go look at Tannahill and anyone else who might provide depth at QB. But for my money Russell Wilson is The Guy. He can run like a RB and eludes tacklers, But he is also a terrific pocket passer, rare in running QB's. He has a great eye for the field and is quick to run through his progressions and get rid of the ball. He is pretty darn accurate and looks to have a very high completion rate. If he has a down side, it is that he has so much confidence in his receivers, he is maybe too quick to throw into double coverage. He throws thru' pretty small windows, which works OK in college but may turn into a bunch of INT's in the pros. Still I believe his upside far outweighs his down side. I'd really like to see him wearing Seahawk colors next fall,

I like him too, his chink in his armor is that he is only 5'10-5'11, under 6 ft, so he has to throw thru windows in the o line which means a lot of balls are going to be knocked down and have to anticipate where his receiver is going to be because he will only see flashes of the receiver thru windows between offensive linemen.

But other than that, he is as good as Luck and RGIII in my opinions as far as quarterback play is concerned.

Um, there were 21 OTHER teams at that workout besides Seattle. He is not coming here. They are just doing due diligence and checking the guy out. It will be defense with #12 or a trade down.

    Protection please
4 straight years of uncanny amounts of offensive line chaos. Reminds me of the Dave Krieg era. Lets protect Matt Flynn, assist the grill toothed beast, and smash some mouth up front. I WANT DECASTRO!

    How many...
First round offensive lineman do we just keep taking? Does this organization want to move forward or just have a bunch of 1st round picks on the line? Listen fellas, its time to move away from the "safe" picks of offensive linemen every year. Sorry but its time to get some of these "special" players that we need in impact positions. The reality is taking an offensive guard @ 12 is ridiculously HIGH... & huge pun on the 'high' part as well. 2 different 1st round OL have appeared in a SB in the last 5 years. Logan Mankins has done it twice & Levi Brown for the Cards. NO OTHER FIRST ROUND O-LINEMEN ON WINNING OR LOSING TEAMS. 5 men start per team, 2 teams equal's 10 men every year times 5 straight years we're talking about 2 men in FIFTY!!! These other teams can get to and win SB games without having to take OL every 1st round, so why is Seattle stuck on taking 1st round linemen going running on 3 straight years while other impacting positions are still needing that game changer? This 'safe' pick mentality needs to stop. Its time to get a difference maker, and one that helps the defense would be that special quarterback hunter.

Defensive end.... rushes the QB, makes teams game plan around him, makes the rest of that already good Defense even better.
