Rantz: Rosie O’Donnell shames Sen. Patty Murray for frowning

Jan 22, 2018, 10:10 AM | Updated: 12:44 pm

We’re no more than a couple days removed from the empowering Women’s March, and already, woke celebrity activist Rosie O’Donnell is shaming our own Senator Patty Murray for not smiling.

In a much-derided tweet, Rosie asked her audience “who is that woman and why is she always frowning” along with a photo of Murray sitting behind Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

Recall, if you will, it was deemed sexist to wonder why Hillary Clinton always looked so unemotional and angry. I guess if you’re a Progressive celebrity activist, it goes relatively unnoticed from the activist groups.

Perhaps a takeaway for Rosie from the Women’s March is to attack women for their frowns.

Update: Rosie has responded to me on Twitter using language I cannot reprint on this site, as it would violate our own terms. Let’s just say she wasn’t happy.
