Ingredient of the week: Heirloom beans

If you enjoy beans, it’s time to put the can away. Katie O and guest co-host Rachel Belle say they often choose canned beans for the convenience.

After one try with fresh beans where they legumes came out far too aldente for her taste, Rachel turned back to convenience.

But “Chef in the Hat” Thierry Rautureau says it doesn’t have to be that way.
