President Donald Trump gave his first State of the Union address Tuesday evening. Many speculated as to what he should say. Others argue the state of the America depends on which corner you live in.
Radio hosts from KIRO and KTTH live tweeted their reactions to President Trump’s speech as it happened. See tweets below from KTTH’s Jason Rantz and KIRO Radio’s Zak Burns.

Line of the night: “Americans are dreamers too.”
Where he succeeded: strong speech that will unite average folks – not ideologues – with common sense plans and clear vision.
Where he failed: not much direct appeal to work with Dems. Perhaps it’s because they don’t want it.

You’ll get some tepid applause from GOP on path to citizenship. It should get a standing ovation. Let’s stop pretending most of these folks aren’t here for the right reasons, contributing to our neighborhoods, culture and economy. #SOTU
