Police say masked men broke into the home of former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant Sunday night while Trufant, his wife and five kids were sleeping.
Surveillance video showed the suspects taking two sets of car keys and they appear to steal both cars. Trufant immediately contacted the Bellevue Police Department.
Responding officers were able to locate the stolen cars and apprehended the suspects late Monday night.
Marcus Trufant spent 10 seasons playing for the Seattle Seahawks, after being drafted in the first round in the 2003 NFL Draft.
Born in Tacoma, Washington, Trufant played at Wilson High School and then at Washington State University.
Trufant’s brother, Isaiah, also played in the NFL, primarily for the New York Jets, and his youngest brother, Desmond, currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons.
