For the first time, the United Kingdom is making moves to restrict access to pornography: Unless you specifically request to have it, porn will be blocked in all UK households. This may seem a bit extreme to some people, but impeding access to pornography might be the answer to many relationship problems.

“I think this is a really fascinating thing,” says KIRO Radio host Luke Burbank. If the United Kingdom decides to go through with this modification, 95 percent of households will be restricted from pornography.

Marriages could potentially improve, as well as child development. Pornography is a tremendously pernicious force in a society, adds Luke.

With the growth of technology, Luke thinks it’s bad for the youth of America to always have it at their fingertips and it probably affects the way boys perceive relationships with women.

There is also talk about blacklisting horrific internet search terms through websites such as “Google” or “Bing.” Once you search for an inappropriate term, your computer screen will read: No Results.

Maybe the change wouldn’t be so bad to try in our country.

So if you really wanted access to pornography then you can awkwardly tell your internet provider that you do not want the “family safe search options” to be applied. But if you’re trying to save your marriage, it seems best to keep yourself blocked.
