Pet of the week: Violet

Violet is a 13-year-old shorthaired torbie kitty who needs a home of her own for her golden years.
When she first arrived at the shelter she was hissy and scared but she came around quickly once people started giving her cheek scratches — she’ll even drool while purring with delight!
Violet gets along well with the dogs and cats in her foster home and would probably do best in a low-key home with pets who are respectful of her personal space.
Violet loves most kinds of wet food but will scarf down anything with tuna — she loves the stuff!
So, if you have a place in your home and heart for Violet please come to the Seattle Humane Society and see if she’s the girl for you.
AND as an added bonus, Violet is part of our 30 First Dates adoption promotion. We have picked a few of our fancy felines to take part in this free 30-day adoption trial which includes all of the food and supplies during their stay with you. If after 30 days they’re still a purrfect match, then the adoption fee is only $25!
