The Seattle Police Department anticipated “traffic impacts” throughout the day in the Puget Sound region.

The prince was scheduled to meet with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates at 5 p.m. Gates worked with the prince on a $10 million initiative for the Gates Foundation.

Mohammed bin Salman toured Boeing’s jet plant in Everett earlier in the day. KIRO 7 reports the national Saudi airline is looking to make a deal with Boeing on 50 737-MAX jets.

No schedule was made public due to safety concerns.

The Puget Sound visit is part of a three-week tour of the United States. Mohammed bin Salman met with President Trump earlier this week. He’s attempting to reshape Saudi Arabia’s image and increase foreign investment.

The prince will head for California on March 31.
