How 6 fictional presidents might deal with the real-life government shutdown

President James Sawyer in White House Down

With mercenaries blowing up buildings at the nation's capitol, it will be hard to facilitate Congress' shutdown debate.

But when it comes time for President Sawyer (Jamie Foxx) to step up and tell Congress to figure out this whole shutdown thing, we just hope they haven't furloughed Capitol Police officer John Cale (Channing Tatum). President Sawyer won't be able to accomplish anything, whether it's saving Washington D.C. from mercenaries, or Congress from a shutdown, without the star of "Magic Mike."
