Vice President Selina Meyer on VEEP

Sure, Meyer isn't actually president and dealing with the fact that she's only the vice president means that when it comes to the shutdown, she feels the effect rather than affecting the process. In fact, in an episode of Veep Meyer is forced to furlough some of her staff just as a damaging story tied to her gets leaked.

What do you think, Joe Biden? Is this a little too close to reality?
