Spring has barely just begun, but as the days get longer and the flowers start to bloom, you need to get out of the house and do these six things before the summer solstice.

Visit a secret park or two

Last week we learned about Linnea Westerlind, who has visited all 425 of Seattle's parks. Some are hidden, and you have to go off the beaten path to find them. But on a sunny spring day, there's no better adventure than checking out what's hidden in your own backyard.

Pictured: Hamilton viewpoint isn't a secret, it's actually popular spot for outdoor weddings. But in the spring it provides beautiful views of downtown Seattle and the Olympics.
